Crystals for speaking your truth
When you need to speak your truth, use crystals to find and amplify your voice, making ourself heard.
Any blue crystals over your throat chakra will help to clear and balance your voice, so try this before any difficult or deep conversations or when speaking in public. Remember that our words carry such powerful vibrations and meaning, so we want to be as truthful and authentic in our interactions as possible.
Or, to open up your communication channels, try holding one of the crystals below in your receiving hand as you journal and use this as an opportunity to convey anything that needs to be said or heard in that moment. Don’t overthink it, just allow the words to flow on to the paper (it can be destroyed afterwards, which often makes it easier for us to be more honest about what we write, as there is no fear around it ever being seen).
Lapis lazuli is one of my go-to crystals when I need to find my voice. Not only does it help to open the throat chakra, this crystal of truth also ensures that your words come from a place of deep authenticity and that you can speak your truth, expressing yourself clearly, openly and honestly, so that you say what you mean and mean what you say.
Meditate with lapis over your third eye or throat to tune into your deepest inner truth and hold or wear it at times when you need to communicate this. If you have supressed your voice for a long time, this can feel quite intense and too much to begin with; imagine a hosepipe with a kink in it – you want to let the water out gradually, rather than in one big tsunami. In which case, it may be better to begin with blue lace agate . . .
This is a soothing crystal for beginning to gently find your voice and express yourself. If you’re afraid to speak up, this crystal will hold you in a loving energy, working to calm your emotions and ease any anxiety as you start to find your voice. Wear blue lace agate (particularly near your throat) to help heal your voice and learn to express yourself with confidence and ease.
